We where both laid in bed last night glued to the tv wtaching the riots down south unfold. I've learnt today that the furniture store that was on fire in Croydon has pretty much burnt to the ground. Bit shit as they've been trading over 100 years, but everything has to end and unfortunatly its ending for them in a riot.
Hopefully there will be less rioting tonight due to a high amount of police around and about but in honest i dont see this working that well. THere will need to be in huge numbers which might just see more people come out, and if people are going to be trowing petrol bombs at the police whats stoppoing them torching a shop.
I'm really suprised that more t shirt printing companies haven't jumped on the comedy bandwagon for londons burning and varying other puns that are been banded about. I've just been over to chargrilled and they are usually pretty quick at knocking stuff up, but nothing for london on fire 2011.
